The Spring Gardens Moravian Church is a member of the world wide unity of Moravians.
Being the largest Moravian church in the Antigua Moravian Conference, it is situated on St.John’s Street in St. John’s Antigua, where its property extends across St. Georges Street to the Dickenson Bay Street. The Christian Education Complex stands directly west of the church on St.Georges Street and houses the Tim O’Reilly Auditorium, the Church office as well as the Day Care and Pre-School Center.
The Church not only caters to spiritual growth but also educational growth with its Day Care, and Pre-School facilities for children six (6) months to five (5) years, and just recently added its After School program for children five (5) to twelve (12) years.
Established back in 1756 with its humble beginnings under a Sandbox tree, Spring Gardens have grown from strength to strength in spite of its many challenges,” for we walk by faith and not by sight”.
